Chelsea Under-21 team winger Milan Lalkovic has today (Tuesday) joined Walsall on loan until 4 January.

Lalkovic, 20, joined Chelsea as a 14-year-old, helping us to the FA Youth Cup in 2010 and national reserve league title a year later. He also featured for the first team in pre-season in 2010.

The Slovakian, who is an Under-21 international, spent the first half of last season on loan in Portugal with Vitoria Guimaraes, having previously appeared six times for Doncaster Rovers on a temporary deal in the 2011/12 season, which he finished in Holland with ADO Den Haag.

Walsall finished ninth in League One last season.
