Working at Chelsea

As a team we’re hardworking, resilient, brave and proud. We constantly strive to do the right thing. We’re involved and highly committed, taking challenges in our stride and focusing on improving and evolving.

We work to win and are driven to create optimum business performance. Our success is underpinned by our diverse and inclusive attitude, creating an environment where everyone is welcome and treated equally. If you’re motivated and want to help us win more trophies, you’ve got a place here at Chelsea.

Our Values

We have more than 150 unique roles that help us reach our goals. Whether it’s by supporting the teams on the pitch in our coaching, medical, sport science, analytics, player recruitment or grounds teams or off the pitch, in departments such as venue and stadium operations, sponsorship, marketing, legal, finance and HR.

No matter what our teams do, they’re brave and decisive and always look for new ways to stand out from the crowd. Our Values are important to us.

MORE about our values

London Living Wage

We are proud to be a London Living Wage Employer.  Our continued commitment as a Living Wage employer means we raised our minimum rate of pay in 2020.

We were also the first English professional football club to be accredited by the Living Wage Foundation.

Chelsea Football Club are committed to creating a safe environment in which the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk are front and centre at the club. Safeguarding is of paramount importance and we expect all colleagues and persons associated with working at Chelsea to share this commitment.

We are committed to doing the right thing. Therefore, we require candidates to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Equal Opportunities

Chelsea FC is proud to be a diverse employer where our differences are valued and everyone is made to feel part of our team, whatever their background or identity. We also recognise that being diverse is not the same as being inclusive and, as such, aim to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities and any barriers are removed so that everyone can  fulfil their potential.

In line with our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010, Chelsea FC takes all allegations of discrimination extremely seriously and encourages a culture where individuals feel they can seek out support if they ever witness or experience discrimination.
