The hero of many a European night when he led the line at Chelsea between 1997 and 2000, Tore Andre Flo’s name used to ring out around Stamford Bridge in those heady days.
His 50 goals for the club scored over 163 appearances – including his memorable hat-trick at White Hart Lane in our famous 6-1 win against Tottenham - made the Norwegian a crowd favourite, yet he always remained a modest figure, even after starring for his country in their famous World Cup win over Brazil in 1998.
Nowadays, Flo works as a technical coach to our loan players.
'I feel lucky to work in such a professional environment with great colleagues and players that aim to be the best. I really enjoy to help the loan players through their loan period and follow them on the pathway to reach their best potential. Since playing almost three-and-a-half enjoyable seasons at Chelsea, I am proud of coming back working as an ambassador and with the loan players of such a successful football club.'
