Chelsea FC Fantasy Football Preview

Make sure you’re ready for GW29 with our essential fantasy football Blue preview!

A return to a full set of fixtures this week after last Sunday’s Carabao Cup final will hopefully mean a return to some high scoring. The week kicks off at 18.00 IST, with Liverpool looking to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season at home to Bournemouth, so make sure you have your lineups set for then!

We’re looking to beat both Liverpool sides in the space of a week as we take on Everton at the Bridge on Sunday at 19.30 IST. A number of our players will be looking to maintain their form, particularly Marcos Alonso, who has three goals in his last two games and now averages 7.1 points per appearance, the second most of all players in the game!

Alonso’s form, coupled with being named ‘One to Watch’ by Fantasy Premier League’s Scout, has in fact seen him become our most transferred player this week, with over 66 thousand players bringing him in for GW29. He will be looking to help keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin at bay, who has been added by over 140 thousand players so far this week, and whose eight goals since Carlo Ancelotti took over on Boxing Day lead the league in that span.

Another Blue to get a shout out this week by the Scout was Olivier Giroud, who has a goal and an assist in his two starts since coming in for the injured Tammy Abraham, and with the Toffees failing to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 Premier League away games he looks set to continue that run this weekend.

Elsewhere, Manchester City and Arsenal will both be playing twice this week after their GW28 fixture was postponed due to the Carabao Cup final. Expect to see a number of their players captained, and even a few triple captains used for those players that still have them up their sleeve.

Finally, a look at our Chelsea India league, where a strong February has seen Leon Benjamin establish a strong lead at the top. Below him however there are still a number of players in striking distance, and with a long way still to go until the end of the season, the league is far from over.

Good luck in GW29 and Keep the Blue Flag Flying High!
