Chelsea FC Ultimate XI - Goalkeeper

Who is Chelsea’s best goalkeeper of the past 20 years? We want you, our Asian fans, to tell us as we begin selecting our Ultimate XI of the past decades.

Over the next few weeks, we will be taking a look at some of the best players who have worn our famous blue kit during the 21st Century and asking you to vote for the top players in each position.

Naturally we’re starting at No1 with four of the most outstanding goalkeepers to play for the Blues.

Thibaut Courtois enjoyed a productive spell at Stamford Bridge from 2014 to 2018 when he won four major honours with the Blues. Tall and agile, he kept 58 clean sheets including 16 in our Premier League-winning campaign in 2016/17 which earned him the Golden Glove award.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

Chelsea debut: Huddersfield (a), Premier League, 11.08.18

Signed from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, Kepa Arrizabalaga is an agile shot-stopper who is confident coming off his line and playing with the ball at his feet. His saves in our penalty shootout win over Eintracht Frankfurt in last season’s Europa League semi-final were crucial as we won the competition for a second time.
