After Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge, here’s what some Indian Blues had to say about their Man of the Match.
My Man of the Match against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge was Mateo Kovacić. His runs from midfield to break defensive lines were crucial, allowing others to move into good spaces.
My Man Of The Match today was Cesar Azpilicueta. Not only was he solid in defence, he was also brilliant going forward, putting in some very dangerous crosses to trouble the Norwich City defence. This match showed his complete versatility and Frank Lampard took full advantage of that.
The dominating superpower upfront, none other than Olivier Giroud! For me, he deserves the Man of the Match, because of his excellent all-round game last night. Slick movement in the box, good hold-up play and top-class finishing! What more do you want from a striker!?
For me, the man of the match from Chelsea’s game against Norwich City should be Antonio Rudiger. He was tight defensively, won most of his aerial challenges and that vital tackle in our penalty area saved the day for Chelsea. He also played some beautiful long balls to Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta. All in all, a morale-boosting performance from our centre-back to help us get those much-needed three points!
My Man of the Match vs Norwich would have to be our inspirational captain, Cesar Azpilicueta. He was absolutely brilliant at the back and the statistics back this up, with him being responsible for four recoveries, three tackles and three interceptions. He was also excellent going forward, contributing three key passes and causing Norwich a lot of problems from the right.
