Following an entertaining, high-scoring draw against West Brom, we asked some Indian Blues to pick their man of the match from the game.
My man of the match would definitely be Mason Mount. After a poor first half, Mason inspired a completely different second half from the team. His wonderful strike completely changed the momentum of the game, and he was brilliant in pressing from the front and bringing some energy to the team.
Mason Mount was arguably the best player for Chelsea against West Brom, and he deserves to be the man of the match. He started the turnaround with that amazing strike, and was also instrumental in Tammy Abraham’s late equaliser.
I would pick Callum Hudson-Odoi as my man of the match. Bringing him on at half time was a brilliant decision by Frank Lampard. Callum did everything that was asked of him in the second half and helped to completely turn the game around to ensure we came away with a point.
For me Callum Hudson-Odoi was the man of the match. Brought on at half time, he completely changed the game. The presence of a natural wide player really helped us create a lot more chances than we did in the first half. Everytime he had the ball he looked dangerous and he had a massive impact on the game.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is the stand out choice of man of the match. His goal was crucial as it really gave us the belief we could still get something from the game. He also had a very significant impact on the overall team performance, doing exactly what Frank asked of him.
