Indian Blues MOTM - Chelsea vs Krasnodar

Following a 4-0 win against Krasnodar in the UEFA Champions League, we asked some Indian Blues for their man of the match picks.

Anagh Shrivastava, Bhopal

I would go with Hakim Ziyech for my man of the match. He was the one putting in the most effort moving the ball in the opposition box, especially in the first half. We also got to see those trademark Ziyech diagonal balls from our wizard. It was a fantastic performance, rounded off with a goal thanks to a remarkable finish from a very difficult angle.

Mayuresh Bhopi, Navi Mumbai

In my opinion Mendy should be our man of the match. Even though we scored four superb goals, Krasnodar were consistently threatening our defence in the first half. Mendy held the defence together with some brilliant saves. Overall, a fantastic performance and a brilliant result for Chelsea in the Champions League.

Veydeep Kaushik, Jorhat

My man of the match pick has to be Hakim Ziyech. Making his first start for Chelsea, he put in an incredible performance. Throughout the game, he made some amazing passes and crosses. He also opened his account for the club by scoring a brilliant goal, which was the icing on the cake.

Guruprasadh R, Thrissur

In my opinion Hakim Ziyech should be the man of the match from last night's 4-0 win against Krasnodar. Even though this was his first start in Chelsea colors, he looked at home in the team and was instrumental in us securing the three points. Not only did he score his first goal for Chelsea, he also played a big role in the build-up to Callum Hudson-Odoi’s goal.

Ankit Patel, Nagpur

This is a tough one. For me, both Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech were simply outstanding on the night. If I have to pick just one, I will go with Edouard Mendy, as he got his fourth clean sheet in a row. While he has been making brilliant saves ever since he has come onboard, I also like the composure and stability that he has brought to the defence.
