Indian Blues’ Moment of the Month: February

We asked some Indian Blues for their moment of the month from February, and here are their picks!

Jonathan Lalremruata, Aizawl

The win against Atletico Madrid was my moment of the month for February, simply because of the way we dominated such a crucial away tie in the Champions League. We didn’t allow a single shot on target and that just goes to show what a positive impact Tuchel has been on the team since his arrival.

Rohan Ansare, Vasai

My favourite Chelsea moment in February was surely Olivier Giroud's goal against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. It was fantastic to see him score a bicycle kick from inside the box against one of the world's best goalkeepers. The second leg at Stamford Bridge is going to be a huge game.

Anand Joshi, Dombivli

My moment of the month from February has to be the 2-0 win over Newcastle. The ever reliable Olivier Giroud opened the scoring, followed up by a cool tap-in from Timo Werner to secure the win. It was good to see Werner back on the scoresheet in what was a crucial victory for the Blues!

Ellerique Langngap, Shillong

My Chelsea moment of the month from February has to be Olivier Giroud’s fantastic overhead kick against Atletico Madrid. It was a top quality finish from Giroud, who got us an away goal in a hugely impressive win against a strong side. On a scale of 1 to 10, that goal is a definite 10/10 for me!

Jayesh Mehta, Ahmedabad

A win against our London rivals Tottenham is always special, so it was great to see the Blues beat Spurs 1-0, thanks to Jorginho converting from the penalty spot. We were solid in defence with Edouard Mendy, Reece James and Antonio Rudiger impressing me the most. That’s why the win against Tottenham is my Moment of the Month from February.
