Following a 2019 trip to London, the American-based Chelsea podcast London is Blue has debuted a four-part interview series.
Entitled ‘Chelsea DNA,’ the special podcast features four episodes with those who have strong ties to the club’s roots: Bobby Tambling, Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori, and Erin Cuthbert. Each episode aims to be ‘fun, enlightening, and most of all, show a sense of pride and history in the club,’ according to London is Blue.
The podcast, which launched in 2014, is hosted by three Americans: Brandon Busbee, Dan Dormer, and Nick Verlaney. Since then, the trio have recorded more than 350 episodes, organized multiple fan trips to Stamford Bridge, and interviewed plenty of Chelsea players including club Captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Willian.

The podcast caught up with Chelsea Academy product Mason Mount at Cobham, where they discuss what it’s like to come up through the Chelsea Academy and make your debut for your boyhood club.
Next, the series features Academy product Fikayo Tomori, who discusses how this generation is working hard with the hopes of becoming a new era of Chelsea greats.
To wrap up the series, the hosts sit down with Chelsea FC Women’s star Erin Cuthbert about the emergence and success of the women’s team, and how the club’s philosophy is ingrained in all players at the club.
