Blues Behind Closed Doors

#ThePrideOfLondon

As we know, football has returned to our screens looking somewhat different from how we remember it. We may not be able to welcome you in, but we have worked hard to ensure Stamford Bridge still captures the essence of you, our fans, and the passion you show, in our bespoke artwork displayed all around the stadium.

Our fans visible around the world

We know our loyal fans who come to Stamford Bridge every game are disappointed not to be able to attend these final fixtures of the 2019/20 season.

As a small token of our thanks, we are featuring the names of our season ticket holders who opted in to be shown, as well as our Official Supporters Clubs, on our digital perimeter boards as a token of our appreciation and recognition of their unwavering support.

Child mascots get the call up

Chelsea run a child mascot programme that allows young fans to walk with their heroes onto the pitch before kick-off at every home game.

Understandably, we are not able to resume this programme with games taking place behind closed doors, so we surprised the child mascots who were due to take to the field at our game against Man City and Watford with a call from someone very special instead…

Digital fan wall

Keep your eyes peeled throughout the game for some of our fans supporting from home. We have asked a selection of fans to watch a stream at home and celebrate from their living rooms, with the chance to feature on our big screen.

Every now and again the broadcast stream will show our passionate Chelsea fans following at home, and we will even beam some of those images to our big screens in the stadium too, so our fans can celebrate with the players. Keep an eye out for a few famous faces in there!

Matchday Programme

To ensure that supporters can complete their programme collection for the 2019/20 campaign, we are producing a special edition 132-page, four-match publication for the remaining home games of the season, to be played behind closed doors at Stamford Bridge.

The limited edition programme will be released shortly after the final game of the season, but you can order your copy now from our programme partner Reach Sport.

Please follow at home

For these games played behind closed doors, fans will not be admitted to the stadiums and for our home games, the whole Stamford Bridge site will be closed to the public.

Please do not travel to Stamford Bridge or congregate in the nearby streets on match days. The same applies to away stadiums.

The games can be followed via TV coverage, or audio and text commentaries on this website and the 5th Stand app. There will also be updates on the club’s social media.
