At every home game, 11 young junior fans get to walk out with the team as mascots. It’s an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience to walk out with your heroes in front of 40,000 people at Stamford Bridge!

  • What do mascots do on the day?

Mascots walk out with the team just before kick-off at every home game at Stamford Bridge. As part of the package you will:

-         Receive a signed football from the team

-         Meet Stamford & Bridget and take pitch-side photos with them

-         Watch the teams warm up from a prime pitchside position

-         Walk out the tunnel with the team and shake hands with the opposition before kick off

One lucky mascot will also be randomly selected to be the captain’s mascot. As the captain’s mascot, they will walk out with the team captain and take an official photo with referees. The captain’s mascot will be notified of this before their chosen game.

  • Do you have mascots for all fixtures?

We have 11 mascots at every home fixture at Stamford Bridge. We also send one mascot to every away fixture. Please note that we do not allocate mascots to Europa League or Champions League fixtures as this is managed separately from UEFA.

  • What are the requirements of being a mascot?

You need to be between the ages of 6 – 12 and you need to wear the full replica home (or away) kit. The experience is accessible for all children, but if you require special assistance on the day please do let us know in advance.

  • How can I become a mascot?

Every year, we will run an online open ballot competition where 250 lucky children will randomly be selected and added to the waiting list to become a mascot. The current waiting time is 4 years, so children must be between the ages of 0 and 8 to apply.

  • My child is on the waiting list, when will I be told which fixture they have been selected for?

At the start of every season we will contact you via email to let you know which season your child is projected to be allocated in, however this is always subject to change based on the number of home fixtures Chelsea have. If your child is due to be a mascot in the upcoming season, we will be in touch approximately 1-2 months before the date of the game with confirmation of their chosen fixture.

  • My child has been selected for a game, can I purchase additional tickets?

We provide all mascots with 2 adult tickets and 1 child ticket for home games and 1 adult and 1 child ticket for the away fixture, as part of the package.  Any additional tickets need to be purchased via the usual channels on the CFC website. You must be a member and/or season ticket holder to purchase additional tickets. All mascots and parents are sat together in pre-allocated seating so there is no guarantee that additional purchased tickets will be sat with the rest of the group. You can contact the ticketing department on 0371 811 1905.

  • Can mascots get additional items signed on the day?

All home and away mascots are provided with a signed football from the team and won’t be able to get additional items signed on the day.
