Cuadrado back to Juve

Juan Cuadrado is returning to Juventus with a new three-year loan agreement finalised today.

The 28-year-old re-joins the Italian champions where he played last season, having previously made 15 appearances for Chelsea. He signed for us from another Serie A side, Fiorentina, in February 2015.

Cuadrado played in the League Cup final win over Tottenham in March 2015 and in 12 of the Premier League title-winning matches that season.

Having helped Colombia finish third in the Copa America this summer, Cuadrado returned to Chelsea to take part in the pre-season games but was not involved in our opening league or cup matches.

We thank Juan for his contribution to our success in two competitions and wish him the best for his loan in Italy.
