Pedro has won the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for the second time this season following his magnificent strike in last month’s 3-0 win at Everton.
In a hugely important game, which was goalless midway through the second half, the Spaniard produced a moment of individual brilliance to break the deadlock, firing an unstoppable left-footed drive into the top corner from 25 yards.
Upon receiving his prize at Stamford Bridge, Pedro said: 'It’s great for me to get this award again, it’s always important to help the team and score goals.
'It was an amazing goal, probably my best for Chelsea because of the fact it was a difficult game, and one which was very important for us, so I'm really happy.'
The Chelsea attacker, who has scored 12 goals this season, first won the award for his wonderful equaliser in our 2-1 home win over Tottenham Hotspur in November.
A Chelsea player has taken the prize on three separate occasions this season, with Eden Hazard’s solo effort against Arsenal in February also coming out on top.
