Champions' Choice: Willian and Zouma

The 2016/17 campaign is one which will live long in the memory for Chelsea supporters after Antonio Conte led us to the Premier League title in his first season in charge. To mark the achievement, we surveyed members of his championship-winning squad with a few key questions...

Willian

Best team display?

'There were so many. Everton home and away. Tottenham at home, Arsenal at home, Man United at home (pictured below) when we won 4-0. You could choose any one of them.'

Favourite goal?

'Matic’s against Tottenham in the FA Cup, that was an amazing goal. I also scored a good free-kick in that game as well but Nemanja’s goal was brilliant.'

Toughest opponent?

'I think I’d have to say Tottenham and Man City. All of the games against those two teams were very tough, but to be honest every game in the Premier League is difficult.'

Favourite moment?

'I have two. The first would be West Brom away because we won the league there. My dad came over to watch the game as well which was very nice. He comes to some games and it was lovely to have him there for a big moment.

'The second would be Man City away because it was just a few days after the Chapecoense plane crash. It was very emotional and when I scored I paid tribute to the victims.'

Kurt Zouma

Best team performance?

'The 5-0 win against Everton at home. It was an unbelievable performance from start to finish.'

Best goal?

'Eden's against Arsenal, an amazing piece of skill in a big game.'

Toughest opponent?

'Tottenham at White Hart Lane. We lost there 2-0 and it was just a really difficult game for us.'

Favourite memory?

'When Michy scored against West Brom to win us the league. We are good friends so it was extra special.'

Best atmosphere?

'I would say the game against Manchester United when we won 4-0. The atmosphere that day was amazing.'
