The Chelsea Foundation will be holding its first ever Sports Technology Hack this week, inviting a range of companies to Stamford Bridge with the challenge of enhancing the fan experience.
The week-long event hosts 15 sports technology businesses, who will spend two days learning about the club before developing ideas and presenting them to a panel which will then decide the overall winner, on Friday.
The unique programme places the Foundation at the forefront of technology, aligning the club’s charity with innovative start-up companies while providing those businesses the opportunity and experience of pitching to and working with one of the world’s leading football clubs.
Matt Mead, Chelsea Foundation head of education, said: ‘The Chelsea Foundation is extremely excited to welcome a range of sports technology companies to Stamford Bridge for a week of innovation, collaboration and problem solving.
‘We look forward to them taking on the challenge of the Hack and seeing the results they present at the end of the week.’
