Dermot Drummy remembered

Current and former Chelsea players, as well as some of those who knew him well, have been paying their personal tributes to Dermot Drummy, our former Academy and reserve team coach who sadly passed away on Monday at the age of 56.

There will be a minute's applause ahead of tonight's game against Swansea and the players will wear black armbands in memory of Drummy, who was a hugely popular figure around Cobham and Stamford Bridge during his seven-year spell at Chelsea. Our development squad also paid tribute by wearing black armbands for their game against Exeter last night.

Here, the official Chelsea website rounds up a selection of fitting tributes which have been paid to Drummy, who also worked in roles at both Arsenal and Crawley Town, over the last couple of days on social media.
