Three BridgeKids had the chance to visit Chelsea’s training ground and take on Antonio Rudiger and Mateo Kovacic at a Scalextric racing challenge!
The lucky fans, Zoe (aged nine), Frank (aged six) and Matthew (aged seven) had won the prize in a BridgeKids competition but had no idea what the challenge was as it was a complete surprise!
Chelsea had partnered up with Scalextric to make a huge race track for the BridgeKids to race the players and the event was hosted by eSports star Wolfy and presenter Rachel Stringer, while mascots Stamford and Bridget were on hand to cheer them on.
The races were very competitive and weren’t without their share of controversy as in the second race, Rudiger was caught attempting to move his car nearer to the finishing line!
It didn’t matter though, as the BridgeKids still ended up winning and were presented with the trophy.
