Chelsea legend and Yokohama ambassador, Didier Drogba, has finished his global tour having visited six countries in just over two weeks.
Over 3,000 fans turned out to see our former striker appear at a series of live fan events in Tokyo, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City, where supporters watched the Ivorian take part in on-stage Q&As, which were hosted by local presenters.
In each city, crowds chanted Drogba’s name and sang ‘Blue is the Colour,’ along with other fan favourites. Chelsea and Yokohama also treated supporters to DJ entertainment, put on football freestyler shows and gave fans the chance to participate in on-stage Drogba-based competitions, as well as Yokohama tyre pass-accuracy challenges.
As part of his tour, Drogba attended exclusive dinners with Yokohama VIPs and top-performing retailers in five countries during the tour. Guests also had the opportunity to ask the Chelsea legend questions and have their photo taken with the Yokohama ambassador.
Drogba said: 'It’s been an incredible experience meeting the thousands of Chelsea fans in each of the cities we have visited during the Drive For More campaign tour. Thank you to Chelsea FC and Yokohama and to all the fans that came to meet us.'
