Vietnamese-speaking Chelsea supporters can now keep up to date with the Blues in their own language thanks to our new Vietnamese official club website.
This week sees the launch of a selection of new Vietnamese-language digital services including a club website (www.chelseafc.com/vi), Facebook translations and weekly e-newsletter as we continue our efforts to engage with Chelsea supporters around the world in their own language.
‘Chelsea has enjoyed fantastic support in Vietnam over the years and we are delighted that we now have the opportunity to communicate directly with our Vietnamese supporters in their native language through our new digital platforms,’ said Chelsea Chairman Bruce Buck.
‘With our new Vietnamese-language website, Facebook page and weekly e-newsletter, fans in Vietnam can keep up with all of the latest happenings from Stamford Bridge and Cobham, receive great Chelsea content and interact with the club and other Vietnamese-speaking Blues fans.
‘We hope our Vietnamese fans enjoy these new digital offerings and continue to keep the blue flag flying high in Vietnam!’
In addition to the launch of the new digital platforms, Chelsea fans in Vietnam are currently being visited by club legend Didier Drogba, who is in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday (9 December) as the global ambassador for Yokohama’s ‘Drive For More’ campaign.
In addition to Vietnamese, Chelsea also maintains official websites and social media accounts in several Asian languages including Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai.
