Cesc Fabregas believes the knee injury which has disrupted his start to the Premier League campaign is almost healed and the midfielder is now looking forward to returning to competitive action under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
Speaking in an interview which first appeared on the Fifth Stand app, Fabregas explained how difficult it has been to miss the opening weeks of the season.
‘It was frustrating and it’s been a little bit of a nightmare to be honest, but now I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel,’ he said. ‘It seems like it’s nearly gone.’
