Maurizio Sarri makes two changes to the side which beat Bournemouth, with Pedro and Olivier Giroud brought into the starting line-up.
Giroud is handed his first start of the season for today’s visit of Cardiff while Pedro, who scored the opener after coming off the bench last time out, is restored to the 11. It will be the Spaniard’s 100th Premier League appearance.
The back four which has started all four of our previous matches remains unchanged and Mateo Kovacic continues in midfield alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.
Chelsea are expected to line up as follows:
Kepa; Azpilicueta (c); Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Pedro, Giroud, Hazard.
Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Barkley, Willian, Morata.
Etheridge; Manga, Morrison (c), Bamba, Bennett; Camarasa, Arter, Ralls, Hoilett, Decordova-Reid, Ward.
Subs: Murphy, Peltier, Richards, Zohore, Paterson, Cunningham, Madine.
