Matchday travel news including South Western Railway disruption: Chelsea v Wolves

The official Chelsea website brings you travel news ahead of Sunday's game against Wolves at the Bridge.


The Metropolitan line is closed between Wembley Park and Aldgate.

Until 11am, there is no service between Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction due to Network Rail track work.

We advise you to check the TFL website prior to travelling.

National Rail

Engineering work is taking place between London Waterloo and Queenstown Road, between Wimbledon and Surbiton/Motspur Park/Kingston and between Hampton Court and Byfleet, closing all lines.

As a result of this, services travelling through Wimbledon will be amended or retimed with some services cancelled entirely.

London Waterloo - Guildford via Cobham: Trains will run between Surbiton and Guildford only.
London Waterloo - Guildford via Woking: Trains are cancelled.
London Waterloo - Guildford via Leatherhead: Trains will run between Worcester Park and Guildford only.
London Waterloo - Dorking: Trains will run between Worcester Park and Guildford only.
London Waterloo - Shepperton: An amended service will run, trains will be diverted via Twickenham.
London Waterloo - Chessington South: Trains are cancelled.
London Waterloo - Hampton Court: A reduced service will run, between Surbiton and Hampton Court only.
London Waterloo - Windsor & Eton Riverside / Reading / Salisbury / Exeter St Davids / Portsmouth Harbour / Poole / Kingston / Basingstoke: Revised service on these routes.
London Waterloo circulars: Amended service.
Woking - Alton: Amended service.

Elsewhere, buses will replace trains between London Bridge and Streatham. 

On Thameslink, engineering work is taking place between West Hampstead Thameslink and London Bridge/Herne Hill, closing all lines.

As a result, trains will not run between London St Pancras International and London Bridge. Customers can use London Underground/London Buses between London St Pancras, London Blackfriars and London Bridge.

Trains will not call at Kentish Town. Replacement buses will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and London St Pancras, calling at Kentish Town.

Services between London stations and Sutton/Wimbledon will not run. Customers should use Southern services and London Buses to complete their journey.

If you are travelling to Stamford Bridge by car, please remember Chelsea's Liftshare Scheme, which enables those supporters with room in their vehicle to give a fellow Blue a lift to the game.

Please note that when we have a Sunday home fixture, street parking is prohibited in Fulham Road between Finborough Road and Harwood Road from four hours before kick-off to one hour after the final whistle so, for this Sunday coming, parking is prohibited from 10.05am. Vehicles parked illegally are liable to be towed away.
