Chelsea trio Eden Hazard, Willian and Olivier Giroud have teamed up with stars from across Europe, including ex-Blues Salomon Kalou and Bertrand Traore, as part of Hyundai’s brand new video.
A Matchday in Europe features a range of players from Hyundai’s partner clubs – Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Hertha Berlin and Lyon – carrying out a range of supporting roles to make their fans’ day.
Hazard, who surprises a supporter with tickets to a game in the video, said: ‘Personally, when I go onto the pitch I play for the fans. As players we are lucky to have the Chelsea fans because they travel everywhere and always show great support.’
David Pugh, marketing director at Hyundai Motor UK, added: ‘As part of our partnership with Chelsea, we want to put the fans first and at the heart of the action – so what better way to demonstrate that than with some of Europe’s biggest stars assisting them on matchday?
‘Through our partnership with Chelsea, we’re committed to creating a range of innovative initiatives that enhance fans’ matchday experience, bring ease to their mobility and make football more accessible and enjoyable for them.’
As well as Kalou and Traore, other stars involved include Antoine Griezmann, Javier Pastore, Nabil Fekir and Edin Dzeko.
