We take a look at what is in store for all the Chelsea teams in the month of April…
April starts with a home Premier League game against Brighton for which the last few tickets are available on general sale. That’s this Wednesday 3 April and kick-off at Stamford Bridge is at 7.45pm.
There’s no weekend game for the Blues with our London derby against West Ham United at the Bridge having moved to the Monday night slot on 8 April. Kick-off is at 8pm.
Focus then turns to the Europa League and a quarter-final meeting with Slavia Prague.
The first leg in the Czech capital is on Thursday 11 April at 8pm. The return at Stamford Bridge is a week later on Thursday 18 April, with kick-off also at 8pm. Tickets are available to buy.
Between those games is a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Sunday 14 April, kick-off 4.30pm.
Our next league assignment after that is on Monday 22 April when Burnley visit Stamford Bridge, kick-off 8pm, and the month finishes with a trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United.
That fixture is currently scheduled to take place on Sunday 28 April at 4.30pm, but is subject to change depending on Man United’s involvement in the Champions League semi-finals.
After getting the better of Paris Saint-Germain in the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals, Emma Hayes’ side have a tie with Lyon to look forward to in April. The two-legged semi-finals are due to take place over the weekends of 20/21 and 27/28 April, with exact date and kick-off times to be confirmed. Chelsea will be away first.
Before then there is a big FA Cup semi-final showdown with Manchester City. That’s at their Academy Stadium on Sunday 14 April, kick-off 3.30pm. It will be live on BBC Two.
Our Under-19s play their UEFA Youth League quarter-final against Dinamo Zagreb this coming Wednesday 3 April. Kick-off at our Cobham training ground is at 3pm. Should Joe Edwards’ side emerge victorious they will contest the Youth League finals weekend between 26 and 29 April in Nyon, Switzerland. We have won the competition twice before.
