Watch Chelsea v Brighton press conference live

Maurizio Sarri will be speaking to the media on Tuesday ahead of our meeting with Brighton at Stamford Bridge and here we look at the possible subjects that could be discussed...

What time and where is the press conference?

The press conference starts at 1.30pm UK time at our Cobham training ground in Surrey. As always it can viewed live on Chelsea TV and via The Fifth Stand App.

Potential discussion points

Here we take a look at some of the topics that might be raised...

Team selection including Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi

Sarri explained before Sunday's win at Cardiff that he had made his selection for that game with Wednesday's match against Brighton in mind. N'Golo Kante and Eden Hazard started on the bench and the boss is likely to be asked if they will be back in the side. Hazard came on and helped us overturn a deficit to beat the Bluebirds, while Kante didn't begin a league game from the off for the first time this season. Callum Hudson-Odoi remained an unused sub and whether he starts his maiden Premier League match could be another topic of discusssion.

Fans' reactions

Chelsea supporters in Cardiff voiced their unhappiness at times and Sarri addressed that on Sunday. He could face more questions on the subject ahead of a game in front of our home fans.

Top-four race

The battle for a Champions League place is getting tighter and tighter after Tottenham's loss to Liverpool on Sunday, and the boss could be asked to give his verdict on our chances of making the top four with just seven league games left now.

Brighton battle

Brighton are also in desperate need of points in their fight to survive. They have an FA Cup semi-final to look forward to this weekend too, and what threat the Seagulls will pose at the Bridge could be put to Sarri.
