Matchday travel news including Fulham Broadway closure and ViaVan offer: Chelsea v Burnley

The official Chelsea website brings you travel news ahead of Monday's game against Burnley at the Bridge.

TFL

There is no service on the District line between Wimbledon, Edgware Road, Hammersmith, Kensington Olympia and Barking.

With Fulham Broadway therefore closed you are advised to use Piccadilly line services to Earl's Court or South Kensington

Replacement buses do operate between Wimbledon and Earl's Court, and Wimbledon and Hammersmith (both via Putney).

The Hammersmith & City line is closed between Aldgate East and Barking, while there is no service between Edgware Road and Aldgate on the Circle line (via Victoria).

The DLR is shut between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay due to Network Rail works. A replacement bus will operate.

We advise you to check the TFL website prior to travelling.

ViaVan offer

To help Chelsea supporters get to Stamford Bridge, we have a special discount code for ViaVan, who pool journeys with people who are going in the same direction as you.

Chelsea fans can download the ViaVan app via the Google Play/App Store and get on-demand rides in London. They work across zones 1-5 and have offered Chelsea fans two free shared rides (up to the value of £10) with promo code VV_CHELSEA

National Rail

Over the Easter weekend many trains are cancelled or operating to a revised timetable. You are strongly advised to check the National Rail journey planner prior to your departure.

Engineering work is taking place in the Wimbledon area, closing some lines. As a result, South Western Railway will operate an amended service with trains being altered, diverted or cancelled. Some services will make additional calls at stations where trains have been cancelled.

Among the many other closures and cancellations, there are no trains in or out of Euston or Fenchurch Street on Monday.

The roads

Please check your route prior to departure through either the AA or RAC websites.
