Christian Pulisic believes Chelsea’s ‘Final Whistle On Hate’ game with New England Revolution will be a great spectacle for our American supporters, as well as sending out an important message.
The Blues have travelled to America ahead of Wednesday night’s Final Whistle On Hate match with New England Revolution, as part of our Say No To Antisemitism campaign, with our new addition stating that Chelsea can expect a warm welcome across the Pond.
‘You’re going to a great country and you’ll play against a good team in a nice city over in the States,’ said Christian.
‘I think it’s great that the club are able to build a relationship in America, as there are a lot of Chelsea fans over in the States.
‘The MLS is definitely rising and you’re seeing a lot of top players coming over to the league. There are some really good teams and although there is still a long way to go, it’s definitely rising in standard.
‘The sport is growing so much in America and it’s incredible to see. The game will be fantastic and it’s for a really important cause, something that’s very close to the owner’s heart.
‘To bring people together through football and to rise past this issue is something fantastic and I think it’s really important.’
