Rexona Movers of the Season

Rexona aims to inspire people to move more and following another incredible Premier League season here at Chelsea, we’re happy to announce the Rexona ‘Movers of the Season!’

First up is Eden Hazard, our player of the season, who throughout it has completed an enormous 138 dribbles. Blessed with incredible creative flair and a low centre of gravity, the Belgian has been in blistering form this year, racking up 16 Premier League goals, 15 assists (the highest in the league) and has created 91 chances.

The best movers are those who are willing to put in the hard yards all over the pitch, every game. With plenty of Blues across the board racking up serious mileage this season, no one covered more of the pitch than our second Mover of the Season, Jorginho, who covered an impressive 13.6 km in our draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in September. At the heart of everything Chelsea do, Jorginho has also completed a whopping 3,118 passes throughout the season (another Premier League chart-topping stat) and it will be interesting to see how he further develops next year.

Speed is a hugely important attribute for any Premier League player to have and the basis for selecting our third Mover of the Season. Arguably the fastest-paced league in the world, those who move with pace tend to have a bigger impact. That’s why we were hugely impressed when we found out that our winger, Willian, hit a rapid 34.89 kilometres per hour in a sprint the season. The Brazilian uses his explosive pace to gain an important advantage on his opponents and we have seen this utilised to devastating affect at numerous points this season.
