N'Golo Kante trains separately ahead of Europa League Final

N'Golo Kante was out on the Olympic Stadium pitch in Baku for the first half-an-hour of training this evening although his involvement was limited to some light jogging and stretching.

Prior to the session, the last before tomorrow's Europa League final against Arsenal, Maurizio Sarri had reported that Kante was 50/50 to play. In front of the world's media, who were able to report on the duration of this evening's session, Kante walked out with the other players before undergoing some light jogging and stretches away from them.

He briefly joined in with the squad's warm-up and then separated again, embarking on a couple of sprints before heading down the tunnel.

For the rest of the group the evening started with a game of rondo and then after the warm-up which Kante joined in with, continued with a two-sided game contested in about a third of the pitch.

There followed some shooting exercises before the players headed back into the dressing rooms. Among the group involved were youngsters Conor Gallagher, George McEachran and keeper Jamie Cumming

Also watching on was Toni Rudiger, who despite being injured has made the journey to Baku. He spoke to Chelsea TV pitchside.
