People attending the Soccer Aid event should be aware that planned engineering works on the London Underground network means there will be closures on the District Line and Circle Line.

This includes the Wimbledon branch of the District Line so there will be no service to and from Fulham Broadway Station, the station local to Stamford Bridge.Overall the works over the weekend of Saturday 15 June and Sunday 16 June remove the District Line service between Aldgate East to Wimbledon, Richmond, Ealing Broadway, Edgware Road and Kensington (Olympia), and the Circle Line between Aldgate to Edgware Road (via Victoria). This will need to be taken into account when planning a journey to the game.

If travelling be tube you are advised to use the Piccadilly line to either Earl’s Court or South Kensington stations which are approximately a 15- and 20-minute walk away respectively  Alternatively, customers travelling on a National Rail service through Clapham Junction are advised to board London Overground services to West Brompton station which is approximately a 15-minute walk away. See below for  walking map routes. Click to access Transport for London’s Journey PlannerPlease note: Street parking is prohibited in Fulham Road between Finborough Road and Harwood Road from 16:30 to one hour after the end of the event.
