Nathan Baxter will join Scottish Premiership side Ross County on loan for the duration of the 2019/20 season.
The goalkeeper, 20, spent the previous campaign with Yeovil Town in League Two, claiming all five of the club’s Player of the Season awards. He registered a club-record six successive clean sheets despite Yeovil eventually being relegated at the end of the season.
Baxter has previously helped Chelsea lift both the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League, and has been praised for his impressive footwork and agility.
He will spend the next campaign north of the border at Ross County, who were promoted to Scottish football’s top flight in May as champions of the First Division.
