The Chelsea Legends are in action again this weekend, flying out to the Spanish capital to take on their Real Madrid counterparts at the Santiago Bernabeu and you can watch Sunday’s game live on the 5th Stand app.

The game will be shown live on the app to fans based in the UK and Ireland can be purchased for just 99p, with all the proceeds going to charity.

Sunday’s game, which kicks-off at 6.20pm UK time, sees the Blues Legends in action for the second summer running, following last year’s clash with Inter Forever at Stamford Bridge.

There are some great names in our squad, and we’ve ran the rule over those former Blues taking part…

Goalkeepers

Henrique Hilario

Portuguese goalkeeper who spent eight years in the Chelsea squad and famously made his debut in a win over Barcelona. Remains at the club as a goalkeeping coach.

Carlo Cudicini

Another former Blue who remains at Stamford Bridge as part of the backroom staff. A former Chelsea Player of the Year, Carlo has worked closely with Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri in recent seasons.

Defenders

Frank Sinclair

Long-serving defender who scored in our League Cup final victory over Middlesbrough in 1998 and now works as part of the Chelsea TV punditry team.

Juliano Belletti

Brazilian right-back who joined us from Barcelona in 2007 and helped us win the Double in 2010.

Marcel Desailly

Another French defender who has lifted the World Cup, ‘The Rock’ skippered the Blues for a number of years and helped us lift the FA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup during his time in London.

Danny Granville

Left-back who spent a year at Stamford Bridge and is best remembered for the part he played in our 1998 Cup Winners' Cup triumph. Worked in the Arsenal academy after hanging up his boots.

William Gallas

Another French defender who excelled all across the backline. Gallas won two Premier League titles with Chelsea.

Celestine Babayaro

Left-back who made almost 200 appearances for Chelsea and helped us lift the FA Cup in 2000. Played for the Legends side last summer.

Ricardo Carvalho

A ultra-reliable member of our defence as we won multiple trophies in the 2000s, he will be playing against one of his other former clubs having joined Real Madrid from Chelsea.

Midfielders

Claude Makelele

A two-times winner of the Premier League, Makelele took in spells with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain either side of his time at Chelsea. Moved into coaching after finishing his career.

Eddie Newton

Former midfielder who is back at Chelsea working with our loan players. He had previously worked as an assistant to Roberto Di Matteo, with the pair at the helm when we lifted the Champions League in 2012. Scored in our 1997 FA Cup win.

Dennis Wise

Popular former Chelsea skipper who spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge, winning both domestic cups and European trophies with the Blues. Had spells in charge of Swindon and Leeds after retiring, as well an executive role at Newcastle.

Gustavo Poyet

Uruguayan midfielder who had the eye for a spectacular goal. Helped us win the FA Cup and the Cup Winners’ Cup before moving into management after finishing his career.

Strikers

Andriy Shevchenko

Famous striker who arrived at Stamford Bridge from AC Milan in 2006, going on to win the League Cup a year later. Is currently the head coach of the Ukrainian national side.

Gianfranco Zola

A true Chelsea legend, who is back at the club as part of our backroom staff. The Italian twice won the FA Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup before ending his playing with Cagliari and moving into management.

Tore Andre Flo

Another former Blue who is back at Stamford Bridge, working with our loan players. The Norwegian striker won the Cup Winners' Cup and FA Cup with us and also had spells with Sunderland, Leeds and MK Dons later in his career.
