Games against Kawasaki Frontale, Barcelona, Reading and RB Salzburg follow before we travel to Monchengladbach, who finished third in last season’s Bundesliga, on Saturday 3 August in a 5pm local time kick-off, to finalise our pre-season arrangements.

It will be the second successive summer we have visited Dublin for pre-season action, following our meeting with Arsenal at the Aviva Stadium last August. Antonio Rudiger scored in a 1-1 draw before the Gunners beat us on penalties, with Petr Cech saving spot-kicks in normal time and in the shoot-out.
The games in Ireland precede our trip to Japan, where we will play against J.League champions Kawasaki in Yokohama on 19 July before facing Barcelona in Saitama on 23 July.
We return to Europe to meet Reading at the Madejski Stadium on 28 July and Austrian champions RB Salzburg on 31 July.
Our Premier League campaign begins with a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Sunday 11 August.
