The 25-year-old joined the Blues in the summer of 2018 from Everton to provide competition for the goalkeeping position, but has now made the decision to step away from the game to pursue a career in finance.‘While it’s been a difficult decision, it has come to the time in my football career where I feel I need to explore other career opportunities that I have studied towards and that I am very passionate about,’ Durack said.‘I will always be grateful for my time at Chelsea, especially due to the wonderful support from the fans, my team mates and all the women’s team staff.’The Australian-born briefly played for the Toffees before she headed to the USA to study Economics and Neurobiology at Harvard University, where she played college football. She then returned for a second spell with the north-west side ahead of the 2017/18 Women’s Super League 1 season, before joining Chelsea last summer.Durack, who has represented England at several different age groups and has one senior cap to her name, made three appearances and kept three clean sheets for the Blues.
