Emerson Palmieri, Davide Zappacosta and Marcos Alonso recently took time out of their training schedule to meet participants on our Chelsea Foundation Soccer Schools.

The trio went along to the sessions held at Cobham where they got involved in the activities alongside the participants, both male and female, who were taking part in the week-long Soccer School.

After the youngsters had the opportunity to play alongside their footballing heroes, the players then signed autographs and posed for photographs to round off what was a memorable day.

And the Blues trio wasn't the only ones to pop along to our Soccer Schools with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi also recently making an appearance at Cobham and meeting young participants on the football sessions.

Chelsea Foundation area development manager Keith Harmes said: 'It's great that the players can take the time to come and meet the children on the soccer schools and to see the surprise on their faces was priceless.

'For these young people to get the opportunity to meet and interact with their heroes will not be forgotten and everyone went home smiling!'

Steve Shipp, a development officer for the Foundation, said: 'The appearance from the players topped off what was a fantastic week for all involved.

'They were also kind enough to donate some signed items which were given out as prizes at the closing ceremony.'
