Preparations for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Norwich stepped up a gear today, as Frank Lampard put his players through their paces in front of an enthusiastic crowd in west London.

Stamford Bridge was a hive of activity this morning, as fans flocked into the stadium to watch the Blues in action at today’s open training session.

Lampard and his players swapped their usual base at Cobham for our home stadium for training today, with fans invited to attend ahead of Saturday’s trip to Norwich.

5,000 free tickets were available for fans to apply for, and they were quickly snapped up by supporters who were enjoying the August sunshine in SW6.

Our head coach put the players through their paces, with Antonio Rudiger and Michy Batshauyi part of the session having featured in our 3-0 PL2 victory over Liverpool earlier this week.

Also involved was Callum Hudson-Odoi, who returned to training with the squad yesterday as he nears the end of his rehab from an Achilles injury, and was again involved in the full session, while also joining the main squad today were youngsters Tariq Lamptey and Marc Guehi.

The Blues travel to East Anglia this week to take on Norwich City at Carrow Road, with all the pre-match build up available via this website and our official app, including Lampard’s pre-match press conference on Friday which can be viewed live for free on both platforms.
