There are three changes to the side which started against Leicester City last weekend.

One of those is in midfield where Mateo Kovacic comes in for N'Golo Kante who is missing today with an ankle injury and another is up front.

Tammy Abraham returns with Olivier Giroud moving to the bench. Pedro was originally named in the 11 but Ross Barkley began the match instead.

Michy Bathshuayi, who scored twice in a PL2 game on Monday, is also among the subs.

In defence Kurt Zouma makes his 50th Premier League appearance for Chelsea.

Antonio Rudiger meanwhile is not yet ready to feature with Lampard hopeful he will be available for the Sheffield United game.

Long-term absentees Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Reece James remain out.

Norwich name a side unchanged from their home win against Newcastle last time out.

They continue to be without long-term absentee Christoph Zimmerman. Fellow defender Timm Klose is also out with a knee injury. Winger Onel Hernandez also faces a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a lateral meniscus tear last week.
