Chelsea’s development squad are back in Premier League 2 action at Stamford Bridge this week.

With tickets still available and the game streamed live on this website and our 5th Stand app, there are plenty of ways for supporters to follow the action…

When and where

The first game in September for our development squad takes place on Friday evening in SW6 as Stamford Bridge hosts PL2 football for the second time this season. Brighton are the visitors for a 7pm kick-off.

How to buy tickets

Tickets are on general sale priced at just £5 for adults, while juniors (under-20s) and seniors (65 or over) can purchase a ticket free of charge. Tickets will be available right up to kick-off, subject to availability. Click here for full details.

How to watch the live stream

Supporters can watch the game for free live on the 5th Stand app or here on the official Chelsea website. Coverage starts at 6.55pm.

Last time out

There have been consecutive 2-2 draws for our youngsters in their last two games, both requiring late Chelsea goals to salvage a point. In Manchester, Marc Guehi and Billy Gilmour struck late on, while at Aldershot last time out it was Tariq Lamptey who rescued a draw.

Who could feature?

Development squad regulars Tino Anjorin, Gilmour, Guehi and Ian Maatsen are expected to feature as the table-topping young Blues look to extend their unbeaten start to the season. Last time out at the Bridge, Andy Myers’s side were boosted by the inclusion of Antonio Rudiger and Michy Batshuayi, the latter scoring twice in our 3-0 win over Liverpool.

There has been speculation that Callum Hudson-Odoi could play some part as he continues his comeback from the Achilles injury sustained back in April. Frank Lampard may shed more light on that in his press conference on Friday afternoon prior to the match.
