Petr Cech – His Chelsea statistical record

With our former and all-time great goalkeeper Petr Cech having today announced his retirement at the end of this season, we review the honours, records and statistics achieved by our most successful ever goalie.

Cech was a Blue for 11 years from 2004 to 2015 before signing for his current club Arsenal, having departed Stamford Bridge as a freshly crowned league champion once again...

- Chelsea FC awards a clean sheet to the starting goalkeeper when the team does not concede in the complete match. In the event of an outfield player or (since 1992) a substitute keeper replacing an injured or sent off keeper then they share the clean sheet. For example, Carlo Cudicini shared five clean sheets when he came on for the starting keeper.
