Matchday travel news

The official Chelsea website brings you travel news ahead of Sunday's game against Sheffield Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.

There is a good service expected on all London Underground lines, but we advise you to check the TFL website prior to travelling.

National Rail

Engineering work is taking place between Moorgate and Finsbury Park, closing the line in and out of Moorgate. All day, there will be no service to and from Moorgate. From 9.30am, trains between Moorgate and Stevenage (via Hertford North/Welwyn Garden City) will start/terminate at London Kings Cross.

Customers are advised to use alternative London Buses/Underground between Finsbury Park and Moorgate.

On Southern, engineering work is taking place between Balham and East Croydon all day, closing some lines. As a result, an amended timetable will be in operation all day.

From 9pm on Sunday, Southern services will not run between Shepherds Bush and Milton Keynes Central.

Engineering work is taking place between Staines and Windsor & Eton Riverside, closing all lines. Buses will replace trains between Staines and Windsor & Eton Riverside.

You are advised to check the National Rail journey planner prior to your departure.

The roads

Please note that when we have a Sunday home fixture, street parking is prohibited in Fulham Road between Finborough Road and Harwood Road from four hours before kick-off to one hour after the final whistle so, for this Sunday coming,  parking is prohibited from 2pm. Vehicles parked illegally are liable to be towed away.

If you are travelling to Stamford Bridge by car, please remember Chelsea's Liftshare Scheme, which enables those supporters with room in their vehicle to give a fellow Blue a lift to the game.

Please check your route prior to departure through either the AA or RAC websites.

Traffic England have live Traffic alerts.
