Baba Rahman has returned from Schalke and will now spend the rest of the season on loan at French top-flight side Reims.
Baba, a left-back, joined Chelsea from German side Augsburg in the summer of 2015 and made his debut in a 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The defender joined Schalke on a season-long loan in 2016/17, but a serious knee injury sustained while playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations brought his campaign to an early conclusion.
Baba then returned to Schalke for the second part of last season, before re-joining the German club on loan for the first half of the current campaign.
He will now spend the remainder of the season with Reims, who are currently ninth in the Ligue 1 table.
