The second round of Champions League group games are upon us and it’s a short trip to France for Frank Lampard’s side as we seek our first points of the campaign in Group H.

The Stade Pierre-Mauroy hosts Champions League group stage football for the first time in seven years after Lille’s finish as Ligue 1 runners-up last term secured a return to the European top table.

The game kicks off at 8pm UK time in northern France.

N’Golo Kante was among a 24-man group of players as the Blues trained in the rain at Cobham on Tuesday morning. The Frenchman’s presence was a boost to Lampard following his absence from our weekend Premier League win over Brighton with a minor hamstring problem.

Also back involved were Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud, both of whom have been suffering lately with illness. Antonio Rudiger, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Emerson Palmieri remain sidelined.

Who are the officials?

Aleksei Kulbakov is the man in charge. The Belarussian last refereed a Chelsea game in February in the Europa League as we beat Malmo 2-1 away. Artur Dias, from Portugal, is the video assistant referee.
