Two Chelsea goals from September have been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month award.

Fikayo Tomori’s stunning strike at Molineux in our 5-2 victory, the young defender’s first goal for the club, has been selected alongside N’Golo Kante’s impressive individual effort against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The duo face competition from Jetro Williams (Newcastle v Liverpool), Moussa Djenepo (Southampton v Sheffield United), Jeff Hendrick (Burnley v Brighton), James Maddison (Leicester v Tottenham), Aaron Cresswell (West Ham v Man United) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool v Chelsea).

The news follows Frank Lampard's nomination for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September earlier today. Winners will be announced next Friday 11 October.
