Jody Morris mocks Tammy Abraham’s childhood dancing but what about his own David Brent moves?

Chelsea assistant coach Jody Morris has taken to social media to poke fun at our fleet-footed number nine but he forgets there are plenty of dodgy dance moves in his own back catalogue…

Morris dug out an old YouTube channel set up by a 13-year-old Tammy Abraham, where the England international uploaded a video in 2010 of him and his younger brother practising street dance moves in their living room.

The grainy footage shows the brothers shifting across the carpet and around the sofa, with Morris’s tweet bringing the embarrassing scene to the attention of 120,000 followers.

However, social media can throw up more than the occasional skeleton in the closet and so, in a lesson on not throwing stones in glass houses, we present Morris’s own victory dance from the aftermath of our 2018 Under-18 Premier League Cup triumph.

Less Ricky Martin, more Ricky Gervais…

Abraham is back in Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria. The Three Lions currently have a 100 per cent winning record after four games in Group A and know that two more victories would secure top spot.

The 22-year-old has nine goals in 11 appearances for the Blues so far this campaign, having netted most recently in our 4-1 away win at Southampton on Sunday.

He is joined in the senior squad by fellow Chelsea Academy graduates Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori, as well as Ross Barkley.
