Willian’s impressive performances throughout the month of October have seen him nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award. Christian Pulisic is in the running for the seperate PFA Player of the Month award.

The Brazilian has been in fine form for the Blues as we won all three of our league games last month, with the 31-year-old playing all but 20 minutes of victories at Southampton, Burnley and at home to Newcastle United.

He scored the fourth of a 4-2 win at Turf Moor last weekend and claimed an assist for one of Christian Pulisic’s treble in the same game, which followed excellent work to tee up Mason Mount for our second goal away at St Mary’s at the start of October.

Jack Grealish, Ilkay Gundogan, Dean Henderson, Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy are the other nominees for the individual prize, with the winner announced next Friday 8 November. Supporters can vote for Willian here. Voting closes at 6pm on Monday 4 November.
