Christian Pulisic scored with the last of his six attempts, half of which had been on target. Willian and Mason Mount had four efforts (all blocked) and Tammy Abraham three.

Mateo Kovacic spent the most time on the ball (9.7 per cent), had the most touches (109) and completed the most passes (86).

Our overall pass completion rate was 87 per cent. Of those who started the match, Willian and Mason Mount were the most accurate, finding a team-mate with 95 per cent of their passes.

When it came to key passes, Willian topped the list with four, followed by Pulisic and Mount who made three.

Pulisic completed six dribbles, the same number as Wilfried Zaha. Kovacic and Reece James beat a man on each of the three occasions they attempted to do so.

As well as scoring his 10th league goal of the campaign, Abraham won four aerial duels, a joint game-high figure. Emerson and Kurt Zouma each won three.

Our top tacklers were Kovacic, Willian and Zouma with three successful challenges apiece, while the French defender also made four clearances.

N’Golo Kante was back in the team and back leading the interception figures with three.

Cesar Azpilicueta had started our previous 73 league games before being named on the bench on Saturday. Our starting XI was our youngest in Premier League history, with an average of 24 years and 88 days.
