Chelsea trio Tino Anjorin, Valentino Livramento and Clinton Mola helped England Under-19s to victory over Luxembourg this afternoon.

Anjorin and Livramento were named in the starting 11 by boss Paul Simpson before Mola joined the action as a half-time substitute in the group's UEFA European Under-19 Championship curtain-raiser. It was a debut for Livramento at Under-19 level - he was a late call-up in place of fellow Blue Henry Lawrence.

Manchester City’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis opened the scoring after seven minutes before a Bobby Duncan brace saw England three goals up at the interval. Xavier Amaechi got the final goal 15 minutes from time as the young Lions top their group after the opening game.

Meanwhile last night, Sam McClelland's Nothern Ireland Under-19 side succumbed to a three-goal defeat against Norway in a pre-tournament friendly as they prepare for the competition. They qualify automatically as hosts of the tournament, which will be held in the summer.

The final international fixture of the day saw Armando Broja's Albania Under-19 side fall to a heavy opening defeat against Greece. Broja played the duration of the game and, after his team-mate Armando Dobra's 81st minute consolation, any little hope of an Albanian comeback was thawrted by a late Greece double. The game ended 5-1 and the Greeks take an early spot at the summit of group four in Euro qualification.
