Frank Lampard names an unchanged side.

In selecting the side that beat Aston Villa midweek, Lampard keeps Andreas Christensen as Kurt Zouma's partner in central defence with the midfield three maintained as N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount.

Willian, in the front three, starts for the 150th time in the Premier League. Ross Barkley returns to the bench for this game against his former side.

Lampard is expecting a tough test against a side who parted ways with manager Marco Silva this week. 'It means potentially a more dangerous game for us,' he said on arrival at Goodison Park.

'We all know there can be a bounce effect when you make a change, particularly when you bring a club legend like Duncan Ferguson into the equation, with the way he played the game.

'I expect them to have a real go so it's up to us to counter that with how we play and how aggressive we can be because we want to come here and win.

'We were really good against Villa and the only thing we didn't do was score more goals but I was really pleased. It's a tight turnaround but I expect more of the same from us.'

Morgan Schneiderlin and Theo Walcott come into the first Everton side selected by Ferguson.
