Following Sunday's fine win away to Arsenal, the Blues are straight back on the road with a trip south to face Brighton. We haven't dropped a point against Brighton in the nine league games we have played, the best such 100 per cent record in English football league history. We have won seven of our nine away Premier League games this season.

When and where

The match takes place at the Amex Stadium in Falmer on Wednesday 1 January. Kick-off is at 12.30pm. 

Latest Chelsea team news

Christian Pulisic wasn't involved at Arsenal as a precaution after feeling his hamstring in the warm down that followed the Southampton match on Boxing Day. 

Marcos Alonso and Reece James have also been injured recently and missed the matches against Southampton and Arsenal. They are not expected to be available for our trip to the South Coast. 

Cesar Azpilicueta played on Sunday but Frank Lampard confirmed after the Arsenal game he has been playing with a knock recently. 

Latest Brighton team news

Solly March is back in training having missed the last month with a groin problem, but he won't be ready for the game. Long-term absentee Jose Izquierdo is also out.

In the UK the match is being broadcast live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting at 12 noon.

Highlights will be available on the 5th Stand app and this website from two hours after the final whistle.
